A life of daily challenge
Is not what I sought out;
But that’s what I've been given,
That’s what my life’s about.
Yes, my glass is not full;
Half empty it does seem.
“What does it take”, I then asked,
“To fill it to the brim”?
A little bit of patience…
… and a whole lot of spunk.
A smile, a laugh, a chuckle,
Always packed in my trunk.
What life may throw at me
Can only make me strong.
I’ll take it with a smile
For the journey is still long.
Every moment is a chance
To smile & seize the day,
To cry out, “Hey Zindagi!”
Just bring on another day!
;-)
We’ve set up this destination store to curate the most insightful & useful products from across the world for people living with physical and mental limitations. And for the people who care for them every day. All of this backed up with the happiest customer service.
We stand for the belief that "if life is not smiling at you, give it a good tickle"
Of course, life isn’t easy, especially to those of us that are physically limited. Sometimes even the smallest tasks can daunt us. But when we hear someone sigh “life is hard”, surely we are tempted to ask, “compared to what”?
Happiness is a choice. We, and only we’re in charge of how we feel today. Let us choose "happy".
We’ll smile at life. Not because everything is perfect, but because we appreciate what we have been blessed with. And because we believe that if we keep smiling, one day life will get tired of upsetting us.
Hey Zindagi!Bring it on!

Sumit, a.k.a Sumo, is our man on a mission. No lightweight himself, the mass of his convictions combines with the velocity of his dreams to create the momentum behind Hey Zindagi! A disciple of design, Sumit curiously scans the world for the most imaginatively designed products that solve the most real problems - that is, when he is not rolling up his sleeves trying to prototype a clever little design himself.

Prasad is the old man in this young game. Fortunately, his mind refuses to grow old. A brand consultant with a sharp business focus, he keeps us constantly pushing forward to the beat of new ideas. He is passionate about our cause, keen to make a wide impact in a country where we often operate with our ‘eyes wide shut’ to disability. He is our brand conscience to do good even as we do well for ourselves.

Shweta is the soft heart of what can be a rough business. Passionate about creating a customer experience with a difference, she constantly bobs up with ‘inconvenient’ ideas like Responsible Selling & a bias for one-to-one call over IVR and automation; stuff that our minds see as inexpedient, but our hearts recognize as crucial. She is passionate to keep things really simple for our patrons, but also recognizes the need for her to embrace complexity to make that so.
